There’s no shortage of opportunities to get involved as an Emerging Women Leader! EWL is a "choose your own adventure" type of group, and committee leaders, TEMPO staff and fellow EWL members can help you navigate the combination of activities that work best with your schedule and desired engagement level.  

Included in the EWL annual dues fee of $415 (2024-25 Fiscal Year):

  • Programming/Events (no cost):
    • Three EWL program meetings (including Annual Speaker Blitz & Master Class)
    • Two in-person TEMPO program meetings (January's Economic Outlook and April's Annual Meeting)
    • Two virtual TEMPO program meetings (May & March) 
    • Four Professional Development sessions (June, August, November, February) 
    • Emerging Women Leaders social events (orientations, socials, happy hours, etc.)
    • Holiday Party (December 12, 2024 - no cost)
  • Signature Events (discounted unless otherwise noted):
    • Golf Outing & Summer Social (July 1, 2024)
    • Emerging Women Leaders Signature Event: RISE (May 31, 2024)
  • Networking
    • Ability to participate in monthly Coffee Connections (1-on-1 pairings with other EWL members)
    • Access to TEMPO and Emerging Women Leaders online directory.
    • Connection with high-caliber network of professional women (400+ TEMPO members, 300+ EWL members) who are elevating leadership in our community and beyond.
    • Access to TEMPO/EWL exclusive Career Center Job Board. 
    • Access to EWL's private Facebook group.
    • Access to TEMPO/EWL's private Working Moms Facebook group. 
  • Mentoring
    • Ability to participate in Emerging Women Leaders' 1-to-1 mentoring initiative (year-long formal mentoring relationship with a TEMPO member mentor)
    • Ability to participate in Emerging Women Leaders' Mentor Circles initiative (small-group, peer mentoring groups. Sign ups quarterly.) 
  • Additional 
    • (Optional) Membership in Women's Affinity Alliance initiative at member rate of $100/year.
    • (Optional) Ability to engage and serve on one of EWL's various committees. 
    • (Optional) Attendance at TEMPO's signature events: Mentor Awards and Leadership Event (individual ticket prices). 
    • (Optional) Attendance at TEMPO's Program Meetings (outside of January's Economic Outlook & April's Annual Meeting)
    • (Optional) $35 donation to TEMPO Foundation*

CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTION*

  • $35 donation to the TEMPO Foundation 501(c)3 charitable organization (members may opt out or request a separate invoice by contacting the TEMPO office.) The TEMPO Foundation advances emerging and experienced women leaders by providing undergraduate scholarships and continuing education grants to females across the state of Wisconsin. Over the years, the TEMPO Foundation has received generous support from members, corporate donors and people in the community. Last year, 83% of TEMPO members contributed a $35 Foundation donation along with their dues. Thank you for your support!
