TEMPO Program Meetings provide members with a chance to network and learn from the greater Milwaukee community and business leaders on trending topics. Meetings are held in-person in May, June, September, October, January and April from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, at the Italian Community Center. Guests are welcome if registered by a member.  

EWL Program Meetings are designed to support emerging women leaders through professional development, leadership growth, and meaningful connections. Members have access to a mix of in-person and virtual programming throughout the year, including the September and November Program Meetings, the January Whole Self Planning Workshop (virtual), the January Economic Outlook Program with TEMPO at no additional cost, and the March Master Class (virtual). EWL members may also choose to attend all TEMPO Program Meetings for an additional registration fee, providing expanded opportunities to learn from influential leaders and engage with Milwaukee’s professional community.

The Professional Development Series is designed for TEMPO members and Emerging Women Leaders interested in professional growth and enrichment - for themselves and their teams. Interactive workshops and educational presentations focus on techniques and tools to lead and affect change. Presented quarterly by subject matter experts, the Professional Development Series features dynamic, inspiring and impactful sessions featuring timely, on-trend topics. Guests are welcome if registered by a member.  

Women’s Affinity Alliance (WAA) sessions provide a unique opportunity for employee resource group (ERG) leaders and stakeholders to connect, collaborate, and learn from one another. Designed to support organizations in advancing female talent, these quarterly gatherings feature discussions on current trends, innovative practices, and shared challenges facing women-focused affinity groups. Held in June, August, December, and March, WAA sessions foster a community of leaders dedicated to creating meaningful impact within their organizations and beyond. WAA participation is available as an add-on to TEMPO and Emerging Women Leaders (EWL) memberships, or individuals may register for individual WAA sessions at a separate per-event rate.

TEMPO’s Signature Events are premier annual experiences that bring together members, Emerging Women Leaders, community partners, and guests to celebrate leadership, foster meaningful connections, and inspire personal and professional growth. Held throughout the year, these hallmark events showcase the impact of women leaders while creating opportunities to learn, engage, and connect.

Signature Events include:

• Mentor Awards (February): Celebrating exceptional mentors and mentoring relationships that make a lasting impact on women’s leadership journeys.
• EWL RISE Event (June): Emerging Women Leaders’ signature event, designed to inspire, empower, and connect the next generation of women leaders.
• Annual Golf Outing (July): A fun and engaging day on the course that brings members and guests together for connection and camaraderie.
• Leadership Event (October): TEMPO’s premier event featuring nationally recognized speakers and thought leaders who inspire bold leadership and meaningful change.
• Holiday Party (December): A festive year-end celebration that brings the TEMPO community together to reflect, connect, and celebrate the season.

NEW this year, TEMPO is introducing three dedicated Networking Socials—Summer, Fall, and Spring—created exclusively for building connections in a relaxed, social setting. Open to both TEMPO members and Emerging Women Leaders (EWL), these gatherings provide an opportunity to meet new women in our community, strengthen existing relationships, and expand your professional network. Members are encouraged to bring guests, making these events a welcoming introduction to the TEMPO and EWL experience. Whether you're a longtime member or attending for the first time, these socials are designed to foster meaningful connections and community.
