We have experienced a variety of significant operational impacts on businesses in 2020. This TEMPO Talks will highlight companies that have evolved how they market to, and connect with, customers and clients. Our three marketing leader panelists will share their current business climate, how they’ve adapted their marketing strategies this past year, what worked and what didn’t, and also share insights for creative marketing in order to reach target markets and keeping their brands alive.

About our Panelists: 
As Chief Marketing Officer, Julie Raye leads all strategic marketing and sales efforts for The Bartolotta Restaurants, the award-winning Milwaukee-based restaurant group that owns and operates 16 restaurants and catering facilities. Julie and her team cover a wide range of responsibilities, from launching new restaurant concepts to building customer engagement through the Bartolotta Rewards program. With more than 20 years of experience, Julie has brought marketing leadership to a variety of organizations, including 10 years at Kimberly-Clark Corporation, the Wisconsin Historical Society, American Family Insurance and Brandgarten, a brand research and strategy firm in Madison. Originally from New York State, Julie holds a BS in Business Management from Canisius College and an MBA in Marketing from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo. Julie joined TEMPO in 2017.

A 25+ year marketing veteran Ann Stadler joined The Marcus Corporation in 2014 as the Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer of The Marcus Theatres. Prior to that role, Ann was the VP of Marketing & Communications at United Way of Greater Milwaukee (UWGM), the largest area funder of health and human services programs. Before joining UWGM's senior leadership team in 2008, Ann worked at the area's top national advertising agencies (Cramer-Krasselt and Bader Rutter) managing local and global brands. Ann offers extensive experience in marketing strategy, relationship management, advertising, promotions and public relations. Plus, she was an adjunct instructor at Marquette University for six years. Ann and her husband Chuck live in New Berlin with their two daughters.

Christina Steder, as Executive Vice President, provides strategic direction for her Trivera clients from first encounter through onboarding and strategic planning as well as the day-to-day execution of their integrated marketing plans. She focuses on linking each client’s ongoing online and content marketing needs to business goals and ROI. Christina possesses 20+ years of experience in consumer product, professional service, and nonprofit marketing as well as brand strategy and client service, beginning her relationship with Trivera as contact person for a client. Christina received her Bachelor’s degree from UW-Stout and her Master’s in Organizational Leadership and Administration from Concordia University Wisconsin. When she's not helping clients, she's busy with her three daughters, volunteering, or spending time with friends and family. A nonstop writer, Christina maintains a blog called Work Lead Live, where she shares her entrepreneurial and marketing knowledge with small business owners. Christina has been an active TEMPO member since 2013.
